could i have that? -

Source: CouldIHaveThat

Welcome to the new home of Could I Have That. I’m beyond excited to be unveiling a fresh new look that I’ve been working on over the last year. This month marks 6 years that I first started blogging and I’m happy to say that life (and Could I Have That) has blossomed in ways that have far surpassed my dreams. I hope that this new redesign provides an experience that is easier to navigate, full of more content/finds and inspiration for you all to fill up on. So what’s new here. It was a joke that my sister and I would to say to each other when we wanted something really badly. We’d say could i have that. I’m just under 5’8″ / size 25 jean / 0-2 or small / 9 shoe. HOW DID YOU GET YOUR START IN BLOGGING. While working in the publishing business ( Santa Barbara Magazine ) I started Could I Have That as a creative outlet for all the things I was currently loving and coveting. Not knowing where my career was heading, especially during the economic decline, I viewed it as an online resume for potential employers. Flash forward a few years and it became my full time job. I feel grateful everyday that I get to do something that I love and function as my own boss. I wasn’t trying to make it a business but when people started leaving comments I thought, wow I should take this seriously. Once I started putting more thought and effort into each post and created an editorial calendar that I stuck to, brands started reaching out for collaborations and advertising. I also loved it so much that I just lived and breathed the blogging community. I attended events, conferences and made friends with fellow bloggers. WHO TAKES YOUR PICTURES. But when the amazing Arna isn’t available or we’re traveling my husband Todd steps in. We use a Canon 6D with a 50mm lens or an 11-24 mm lens. I’m visiting Santa Barbara, where should I stay/eat/shop. You can check out my Santa Barbara Black Book for favorite haunts in my hometown and recommendations if you plan on going up to Santa Ynez for some wine tasting/dining. Believe it or not, I’ve never died my hair, EVER. I’m one of four red heads and each one of us have a variation of red. How do you stay so slim. I’ve always been a skinny minny. I don’t exercise like a crazy person or watch what I eat too closely. I just try to keep everything in moderation, make healthy decisions (i. e. something green every day) and exercise when I can motivate myself. I walk once or twice a week with a friend, practice yoga when I have the time and swim. PRIVACY I’m incredibly grateful for each and every one of my readers and want to ensure that your information is kept private. While I do collect some data from everyone who visits this site, it is kept top secret and never (ever) shared with an outside party. By subscribing to Could I Have That you will get the inside scoop on the latest posts sent directly to your inbox—no weird advertisements, just a little heads up from me that there is something new on CIHT. You also have the ability to unsubscribe at any time. AFFILIATES Could I Have That partakes in several affiliate advertising programs and brand collaborations. This means that I make a commission from certain links on this site and related social media platforms. I do not include anything that I haven’t or wouldn’t wear or buy myself. All opinions are my own. COLLABORATIONS I take pride in the fact that Could I Have That stays true to its mantra—anything that makes me say “ Could I Have That. ” I only collaborate with brands that fit the Could I Have That aesthetic and take this into consideration when approached by outside partners. If you think your brand would be a good fit please email me samantha@couldihavethat.

Focus on Imaging
Focus on Imaging

Focus on Imaging 2009, Professional Imaging Supplies, pfd, Gary Walsh A couple of minutes before 10.00am on the morning of Sunday, January 14th, 1990, Mary Walker was getting ready to open her first exhibition, Focus on Photography. It had taken her 18 months of hard work to get to that point but she had had tremendous support from right across the industry. As she waited for the clock to tick towards ten o’clock she knew she had succeeded in putting together an exhibition which had so exceeded her early expectations that she had had to have a marquee erected at the back of The Pavilion at the NEC to accommodate everyone who wanted to be there. Now the only question was “Will the show attract enough visitors – and of the right quality – to make the whole thing a complete success.” The answer, as everyone connected with the show will tell you, was “yes” and from then onwards Focus has grown in both size and, arguably more important, reputation. However, even now, as Mary puts...
